Privacy policy
This explains what LTMedia collects when you use LTMedia Social at ltmedia.io, why we need it and what choices you have.
Who we are
LTMedia ("we", "us") runs LTMedia Social, a service that helps companies turn job photos into social posts, approve them and publish them. For privacy questions, contact LTMedia using your usual contact or WhatsApp us on +44 7775 447649.
Information we collect
- Your name, email address, password hash, account role and company membership.
- Photos, captions, job notes, approval choices, change requests and publishing schedules supplied by you or your company.
- Photo metadata such as capture time and GPS location when it exists. Location is used to help identify the town or group photos from the same job; exact coordinates are not put into public captions.
- Facebook Page and Instagram business account details, permissions and access tokens when a company connects Meta.
- Basic technical information needed to keep the service secure and working, such as IP address, browser information and service logs.
How we use it
We use this information to run accounts and company workspaces, process and group photos, draft posts, collect approvals, schedule or publish approved content, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Our reasons for using it
We normally process information because it is needed to provide the service you or your company asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only when needed to provide the service. This can include the company whose workspace you use and suppliers that provide hosting, security, AI image and caption processing, location lookup and social publishing. These may include Cloudflare, OpenAI, OpenStreetMap and Meta. Approved posts are shared with the social networks chosen by your company. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use providers and safeguards intended to protect it in line with UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep account and company content while it is needed to provide the service, handle disputes, keep the service secure or meet legal obligations. We delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
Cookies
LTMedia Social uses an essential login cookie to keep you signed in and protect your account. It lasts for up to 14 days unless you log out or delete it. We do not currently use advertising cookies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, object to how it is used, or ask for a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Delete your data
You can permanently delete your LTMedia user account on our delete my data page. You can also remove LTMedia from Facebook's Business Integrations settings. Shared company posts and Page connections belong to the company and are handled separately if the company asks us to remove them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
